So, I'm WAY behind on Blogging!  Thought I might try this again!  For those who don't know, I am part of a world-wide group of "Swappers"!
I'm attempting something new that will keep me on my toes with making cards!  There is a Card group that I joined and the fabulous thing about it is that every single person that is in the group has to send everyone else in the group a birthday card!
I have had the luxury of time this evening so I sat down to make up some Birthday cards for my fellow swappers!  (Spoiler Alert!)  In total, thus far, there are eight group members in the month of January!  Who doesn't love some mail.....in their actual mail box.  Not Inbox, Not Text Message, Not Instant Message, but actual "snail mail"?!!!
I am hoping that this also encourages me to make and send Birthday cards for my family and friends as well! Guess that means I'll be making 13 cards in all, for Birthdays only.  Unless I am missing someone on the in-laws side of the family!  Yikes!  I better get busy!
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and hope the New Year brings you Peace, Love and Happiness.
(I know, sounds cliche but truly....couldn't we all use some?!)

I have been having some fun decorating matchboxes and stuffing them with goodies!

I hosted a swap on swap-bot.com for a decorated matchbox full of earrings! You'd never guess the amounts of earrings you can stuff into a tiny little box! Love these little treasure chests!

So, it's a New Year....
Time to try and start some things in my life over...or better yet, time to try some things again! I'm super excited to start my new year with a little bit of new organization in my office! I was lucky enough to have a boss at a former job give me a "FREE" piece of Peg Board.
I immediately ran out and bought some accessories for my new pegboard and then it sat....
It sat for about three months in our back bedroom. We just kept putting it off and putting it off until finally, I couldn't take it anymore and we had to hang it! My husband, being as handy as he is was super kind enough to get it all put together and hung on the wall!I spent my New Year's Eve sorting and hanging my loads and loads of beads on the board!
So, here's a sneak peek at some of the beads you may soon be finding put together in some fabulous pieces of jewelry in my Etsy shop....
Enjoy!

It has been a crazy busy summer for me here in Kentucky. On top of working two jobs and all the little trips and fun things squeezed in there, I have not forgotten about beading! I haven't posted much on Etsy lately as my free beading time has been designated to custom orders and "just for fun" items. So that you know what else I am capable of, here are a few of the other items I have made that haven't made it to Etsy!
We had the pleasure of camping at Green River Lake State Park here in KY a couple of weeks ago, and I couldn't resist but put together a bag of supplies for beading while camping!
There were three couples so I made the husbands pick out beads for the wives (plus I made a couple extra!)
Here's how they turned out and an "in-progress" picture.

Hemp with wood beads, acrylic beads and some glass.
This next set is a special request for "something blue or something green".
Set is made with all glass beads and accented with a filagree clasp.
Here's the something Green...
made with Shell Disc beads and glass beads.

And of course, a goofy one to end this post!
Last weekend we went to Hubers Orchard & Winery in Indiana to sample some wine, of course, and to pick some berries! It is Blackberry, Red Raspberry and Peach picking time.
Here are two happy pickers, obviously!
Briana has on a Hemp necklace I made for her during a BBQ and Blues Festival a few weeks prior and Brittney is wearing a Vintage Button ring that I made for her...notice it on the "picking finger"?! HA!
Hope you are all having a Fabulous Summer!

More Vintage Button Rings!!
These are soo much fun to make and to wear!

I had the wonderful opportunity to spend a weekend with a few of my family members to show them the ins and outs of stamping and card making. It was quite a fun and productive weekend!

Picture Break
Hard at work!
Funny...we didn't want to stop for a lunch break!
(I'm really NOT a slave-driver!)
My favorite group of pictures....watching him open the stamp pad...
Oops, got it on my finger....
Busted... Ha!!
Overall, between all of us who participated we made close to 50 cards!
I'd say it was a productive weekend!
I had a GREAT time and can't wait to do it again.

I must apologize to all of you out there in blogger-land. I took a week long vacation to Wonderful South Dakota and have just this past week started working again. I'm doing Horticulture at the Louisville Zoo this summer and it has proven to tell me that I am very out of shape! I have done little to no beading or posting of pictures so the past two days I have been busy beading and creating!! I'll be doing my best, in the light that I have, to get pictures taken and items posted for you!!
I also find my mind wandering to very near gardening project planned for my own back yard this year! Much of my exhausted, after work time has been spent sketching, reading and planning my upcoming vegetable garden. YUM! Can't wait for Harvest!
Hope you are all having a Wonderful, Wonderful Spring!!
